Lindsey S - Support Work Operations Coordinator
Lindsey is our Support Work Operations Coordinator and the quiet powerhouse behind the scenes. If there is a roster puzzle to solve, a last minute shift to fill, or a moving piece that needs steady hands, Lindsey is already three steps ahead. She has an incredible ability to hold a lot at once without ever making it feel dramatic. Practical, grounded and deeply reliable, Lindsey makes sure our support workers are supported and our participants receive consistent, thoughtful care. When things get busy, she doesn’t flinch - she just opens another tab and gets it done.
What are your hobbies outside of working?
Outside of work I like to find a balance between adventure and relaxation. You might find me out exploring the bush or on the beach one weekend, and the next curled up in my PJs, with my four-legged sidekick by my side wherever I go.
How do you connect with young people?
I connect with young people by being authentic and wothout expectations, taking the time to show genuine interest in what matters to them.
What were you like growing up?
Growing up in Yorkshire, England with two older brothers, I was a quiet child who loved nurturing and looking out for others. I was creative, a bit of a bookworm with a vivid imagination, and I’ve refused to eat meat for as long as I can remember, choosing a vegetarian lifestyle from a very young age.
