What are your hobbies outside of working?

Outside of work, I love to spend time with my family and friends doing fun activities, I love to read, I love to give my cats lots of cuddles and I love to sew!

What inspired you to become a support worker?

I just love people! I believe that every person should have the opportunity to achieve their goals and be celebrated. I’ve met the most wonderful people from this work and have become a better person because of it.

What were you like growing up?

Growing up, I was very chatty and enthusiastic about life. My mum tells me stories about how I would stop and chat to anyone and everyone in the supermarket or at the park. I was so expressive that my parents put me in singing lessons and theatre classes from a young age. This was my absolute jam growing up - I really found my people and music helped me a lot through high school and challenging seasons.
