What are your hobbies outside of working?

My hobbies outside of work include playing netball and spending time at the netball club, which keeps me active and connected with my community. I also enjoy going to the beach, doing Pilates, and running to stay fit and clear my mind. In my spare time, I love being with friends and family, riding my horse, exploring new foods, and attending concerts!

What inspired you to become a support worker?

I was inspired to become a support worker because I’ve always enjoyed helping others and making a difference in their day-to-day lives. Through my experience working as an education support, I discovered how rewarding it is to build meaningful connections, support people to achieve their goals, and help them feel understood and valued. I love seeing the positive impact that patience, encouragement, and genuine care can have on someone’s confidence and wellbeing!

What were you like growing up?

Growing up I was bubbly, outgoing, and friendly. I loved being around people and spending time with friends, whether it was playing sports like basketball, netball, athletics, or horse riding. I was always active and outside, either in the backyard teaching myself new gymnastics skills, bouncing on the trampoline, or spending time with my ponies! I’ve always had a love for movement, connection, and learning new things.
