Millie W - Support Worker

Millie W - Geelong

What are your hobbies outside of working?

I enjoy several hobbies outside of work including reading (mostly romcom!), running in nature, and going on fun adventures with my housemates.

What inspired you to become a support worker?

I have always had a genuine interest in supporting people, which is mostly what inspired me to study psychology. Gaining hands-on experience is something that is very important to me and something I really want to do, and support work is the perfect job for that. It allows me to do something I love, whilst also gaining extremely valuable and rewarding experience.

What were you like growing up?

Growing up I was always a very empathetic and caring person. I loved sport, yet was fairly quiet. I also loved spending time with my family, friends, and pets (and still do of course).

What qualifications do you have?

  • Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) - Currently Studying

  • First Aid & CPR

  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance

  • Working with Children's Check
