What are your hobbies outside of working?

In my free time I love to crochet, cosy up to a good show or read a book. I love music so I’ll pick up my ukulele for a couple of songs every now and then, or just dance around in my room. I love picking up new hobbies and learning new instruments, and my room is scattered with my many mini lego projects

How do you connect with young people?

I feel like I’m quite young at heart, which I think helps me when trying to connect with young people. I have lots of experience working with and around children, and I’ve found that compliments and lending a listening ear help.

What were you like growing up?

Growing up I was always loud, a bit of a teacher's pet, and had a great imagination. I loved school and spent all of every day laughing. I spent a lot of time reading, writing stories, playing music and playing basketball.
