Tash C - Support Worker

Tash - Wyndham

What are your hobbies outside of working?

When I’m not at work, I love unwinding with a good book, diving into a movie, or putting on my favorite music. I also have a big passion for traveling and catching the ocean breeze whenever I can get out to the beach. For me, taking time to explore new places and relax by the water is the best way to recharge.

What inspired you to become a Support Worker?

I’ve always found real meaning in helping people live the lives they want. Support work lets me do that every day, whether it’s getting out into the community, building new skills, or just having a good chat over a cuppa. I believe everyone deserves support that feels respectful, relaxed and on their terms.

What were you like growing up?

Growing up, I was a quiet but naturally happy kid who always loved keeping busy. I really enjoyed school and threw myself into all kinds of extracurriculars, from playing netball and doing gymnastics to singing in the choir. Looking back, having those different outlets taught me early on how fun it is to connect with people and try new things.
