Zoe B - Support Worker

Zoe B - Geelong

What are your hobbies outside of working?

Outside of work, I enjoying staying active through the gym and beach walks, travelling and adventuring to find new favourtie spots and spending quality time with my family and friends.

What inspired you to become a Support Worker?

I have always had a passion for supporting children and making a positive difference to their lives. Having a little cousin with Angleman syndrome showed me the impact of providing care, patience and encouragement, inspiring me to want to help others to reach their full potential. Alongside working at Nelson Park School and my Occupational Therapy studies, I have had the opportunity to learn, grow and create meaningful experiences in supporting people - Something I truly love.

What were you like growing up?

I was born in Queensland and moved around alot growing up, which made me flexible and curious about new people and places. As a child and throughout school, I was active in sports, bubbly, loved making new friends and always eager to help and include others. Moving out straight after year 12 to follow my goals, I was independant and determined, traits that still stick with me today.
